One Day Last Week: A Photo Essay

Last week, it rained. It rained all week and I felt like we would never see the sun again. Eventually, the sun came out and we could venture outside again. But while we were fighting cabin fever, I decided to spend one day with the camera permanently attached to my hand.

This was that day. It was a pretty great one!

Book Themed Couples Baby Shower

This past weekend was too much fun! We worked hard but played hard as well. We threw a baby shower, with two other couples for our sweet friends, Kristyn and Ryan. They are expecting a little boy in early June.

Over the last few years I've been a part of throwing some pretty awesome showers both baby and wedding, but this one was probably my favorite for a number of reasons. 1. The shower was for two of our favorite people! 2. It was a couples shower so it felt more like a back yard bbq than a baby shower - complete with lawn games. 3. Even better than that, I love love love the theme. Kristyn is a big reader so we opted for Books, BBQ, and Baby Talk.

I'm pretty obsessed with how cute the shower turned out so here are a few pictures from the day!

We've been home for almost two weeks. Today, in the midst of a very dreary week in Texas, I feel the need to relive our adventure to sunny, warm, beautiful San Pedro, Belize.
